Resistance table

LEDs with a threshold voltage of 3.2 – 3.4 V and a recommended. current 20 mA:
5V supply voltage = 91 Ohm resistance
6V = 130 Ohm resistance
9 V = 330 Ohm resistance
12 V = 470 Ohm resistance
13.8V = 560 Ohm resistance

LEDs with a threshold voltage of 3.2 – 3.4 V and a recommended. current 15 mA:
5 V supply voltage = 120 Ohm resistance
6 V = 160 Ohm resistance
9 V = 390 Ohm resistance
12 V = 560 Ohm resistance
13.8 V = 820 Ohm resistance

LEDs with a threshold voltage of 2.0 V – 2.1 V and a recommended. current 20 mA:
5 V supply voltage = 150 Ohm resistance
6 V = 180 or 220 Ohm resistance
9 V = 470 Ohm resistance
12 V = 560 Ohm resistance
13.8 V = 620 Ohm resistance

LEDs with a threshold voltage of 4.2 – 4.5 V and a recommended. current 40 mA:
5 V supply voltage = 22 Ohm resistance
6 V = 43 Ohm resistance
9 V = 120 Ohm resistance
12 V = 220 Ohm resistance
13.8 V = 270 Ohm resistance

LEDs with a threshold voltage of 3.0 V or more. current 30 mA:
5 V operating voltage = 68 Ohm resistance
6 V = 100 Ohm resistance
9 V = 180 or 220 Ohm resistance
12 V = 300 Ohm resistance
13.8 V = 360 Ohm resistance

LEDs with a threshold voltage of 3.3 V or more. current 100 mA:
5 V operating voltage = 18 Ohm resistance
6 V = 27 Ohm resistance
9 V = 56 Ohm resistor (better would be to put 2 pcs 120 ohm in parallel)
12 V = two 180 ohm resistors in parallel (1 W wasted power)
13.8 V = two 220 ohm resistors in parallel (more than 1 W of wasted power)

If you can’t find the right option, ask for the right front catalogues for the LEDs you want to order. Remember to indicate the operating voltage.

You can order the resistors from led accessories. When making your own LED lights for sauna use, choose at least one resistance value higher than the value in the table.
For Teholed, resistance is not the best option, but you can find a similar table here.
